For Preschool through 6th Grade Students
Kids Club is a state program overseen by the Washington Elementary principal with the director overseeing the day-to-day planning and operations.
Child supervision is available from 6:30 AM until 6:00 PM at the elementary. The program operates during the school year, during most of the scheduled school breaks, in-service days, and during the summer. Delays or cancellations of the program are reported along with the school district reporting.
Information is available in the elementary office or can be printed off by clicking on the buttons below. The registration forms must be completed, signed, and returned before the first day of the child’s attendance to Kids Club. Forms may also be emailed but must include the guardian’s signature.
Wrap-Around Care for your Preschooler
Supplementary care is available to students enrolled in the afternoon preschool only from 8:15 AM until 12:30 PM. If your child attends the morning preschool session there is not a childcare option in the afternoon.
Breakfast and lunch are available to students when they are in attendance during breakfast and lunch times. Anytime a student eats breakfast or lunch the cost is deducted from the student’s nutrition account.
It is the goal of this program to provide an enriching and appropriate environment for children ages 4 – 6. Children will benefit from a consistent rhythm of daily activities including snack, rest time, and outdoor play. During their session at Kids Club, children will be offered a variety of learning and play experiences. This includes participation in group stories and songs, center time for open exploration of art materials, block play, pretend play, and other teacher-guided activities.
